We will be observing World Meditation Day (5/21) at work on Friday, 5/19 and Monday, 5/22!   in the workplace! World Meditation Day is a day to promote the benefits of meditation for physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It is also a great opportunity for us to come together as a team and promote employee wellness, productivity, and job satisfaction.

We encourage you to take some time throughout the day to focus on your breath or other mindfulness techniques. This can help reduce stress and improve focus and productivity.

Here are a few tips to get started:

  • Take a few deep breaths before starting a task to help calm your mind and improve focus.
  • Schedule a few minutes each day for a mindfulness break where you can step away from your work and focus on mindfulness techniques to relax and refresh.
  • Consider attending a guided meditation session or yoga class. There are many great options available for free on YouTube or through mobile apps such as Calm, Headspace, and Aura Health.

[We're blocking off office-wide a silent Slack 15 minutes from 2-2:15 PM on Friday, where no one is asking for anything, requesting a meeting, and expects anything more than to all take 15 minutes to clear our minds.]

📱Consider attending a guided meditation session or yoga class [We'll have XXX on Zoom on Monday, 5/22 from 10-10:20 AM]. There are many great options available for free on YouTube or through mobile apps such as Calm, Headspace, and Aura Health, as well.
