Hi {{first_name}},
Hope your first couple of weeks have been going well so far!
We like to check in with new hires around this time, to see how you’re settling in and if there’s anything we can do to support you as you get up to speed. This isn’t a formal meeting or evaluation—just an open conversation for you to share how things are going from your perspective. Whether you’ve got questions, feedback, or just want to talk about how (hopefully) amazing your week has been, the time is yours to use.
I’d love to set up 30 minutes to connect sometime next week. Feel free to send over a few times that are good on your end, and I’ll follow up with a calendar invite. Or, if it’s easier, you can grab time directly using [this link].
Looking forward to connecting—and thanks again for being here!
Best,

This is an informal conversation for HR to check-in with new hires on how their onboarding is going and whether or not they are adjusting well to their manager and team. It's also a good opportunity to get feedback on the application and interview process. This check-in not only gives new hires the ability to provide feedback they may be hesitant about giving their manager, but also starts to build a connection with HR.
