Recognizing International Non-Binary People's Day

Hi everyone,

International Non-Binary People's Day is celebrated annually on July 14th, between International Women's Day (March 8th) and International Men's Day (November 19th) to symbolize how non-binary people live beyond the binary gender framework.

We invite you all to use this day as a stepping stone to broaden your understanding of the non-binary community:

  • Non-binary individuals may identify as having a gender that blends elements of both male and female, exists outside of these categories altogether, or may reject the concept of gender entirely.
  • Non-binary is often used as an umbrella term, encompassing a variety of gender identities, including but not limited to genderqueer, genderfluid, and agender.
  • Use gender-neutral language whenever possible, such as "folks" or "team" instead of "guys."
  • Indicate your pronouns in your email signature and/or LinkedIn profile.
  • If unsure, it's respectful to ask someone for their preferred pronouns.

Let's strive to create a more supportive and inclusive workplace of mutual respect and acceptance. Our strength as a company comes from the diversity of our people and perspectives!

Thank you,

People Team
