As some of you may know, July is Plastic Free Month, a global movement that encourages individuals and organizations to reduce their plastic consumption and promote sustainability. As a company that values environmental responsibility, we want to take this opportunity to observe Plastic Free July in the workplace.
We encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottles and coffee cups to work. This reduces the need for single-use plastic bottles and cups. To ensure everyone has a suitable reusable water bottle, we will be handing out branded water bottles to use at work in addition to coffee mugs.
While we do our best to recycle in the office, to increase our impact, we will be making sure that employees are aware of what can and cannot be recycled. This reduces the amount of plastic that ends up in landfills in addition to reducing the contamination of recyclable materials.
Lastly, we encourage you to use eco-friendly modes of transportation, such as biking, walking, or public transit. This reduces the use of plastic-based fuels and reduces carbon emissions. Be sure to check in with HR to review the bike to work benefits available to all employees.

First, we encourage everyone to use reusable water bottles and coffee cups at work. To ensure everyone has a suitable reusable water bottle, we will be passing out water bottles to use at work in addition to coffee mugs. 🎉
