Be sure to provide thoughtful employee communications leading up to your company retreat to prepare your teams for the best possible outcome.
If you are traveling a long distance, plan retreats well in advance and make it clear if family members can attend. Caregivers may need to make arrangements for child or elder care. Provide a list of what expenses may be covered by the company and what will need to be paid for by the employee. If possible, create a retreat itinerary. Some activities may be off-limits for employees with neuro-divergence, mental health, or physical disabilities. They should be given plenty of notice to plan accordingly.
